Web Development
Landing Page (landing, landing) is the page that a person lands on after clicking on an ad. Its main and only task is to encourage the visitor to take a specific action: leave contacts, buy a product or register for a webinar.

What is a Landing Page?

Unlike a multi-page corporate site, a landing page is focused on one product. There is no menu, news or "water".

The structure of an effective landing page: 1. Hero Screen - strong headline and call to action (CTA) 2. Pain and Solution - what problem does the product solve 3. Social proof - customer reviews, case studies, logos 4. Offer - price or special offer 5. Entry form - where to enter a phone number or email

If traffic from advertising is directed to the main page of the site, the conversion will be 1%. If on the right landing - 5-10%.

How does the landing page work?

The user sees an ad with a specific promise (for example, "Site Audit"). Clicks, gets to a page that confirms this promise, reads the arguments, believes the reviews and fills out the form.

What are landing pages used for?

01Collection of leads (Lead Gen)

Offer to download a free PDF in exchange for an email. Forms a base for mailings.

02Sale of goods

One product, detailed description, "Buy" button. Ideal for trendy products.

03Niche testing

MVP: Create a landing page for a non-existent product, launch $100 in traffic and see if there is demand.
