PPC and SEO Marketing
Conversion is a key performance metric in digital marketing. It shows what percentage of your website visitors or ad viewers did what you wanted them to do: leave a request, call, add a product to the cart or pay for an order.

What is Conversion?

The calculation formula is simple: (Number of targeted actions / Number of visitors) × 100%

If 1000 people visited the site, and 50 left an application - your conversion is 5%.

The conversion happens: • Microconversion - an intermediate step (clicking a button, watching a video, adding to the cart). • Macroconversion - final goal (purchase, signing of contract).

A high conversion means that your site is user-friendly, the offer is strong, and the traffic is targeted.

How to increase conversion?

This is done by CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization). Ways to improve: remove unnecessary fields in forms, speed up site loading, make a stronger CTA (call to action), add social proof (feedback).

Why conversion is important

01Budget savings

An increase in conversion from 1% to 2% means twice as many customers for the same ad spend.

02Evaluation of channels

Facebook gives 4% conversion and Google Ads - 1%? You know where to redirect the money.

/ FAQ

The average in e-commerce is 1-3%. In the field of B2B services - 2-5%. For free lead magnets - 20-40%. It all depends on the niche.
